Xylitol

Introduction of Xylitol:
1. As a five-carbon sugar alcohol, Xylitol is the normal intermediate product of xylose metabolism.
2. In the shape of white crystalline powder, it is widely used as sweetener, nutrient and medicament in the chemical, food, medicine and other industries.

Main Functions of Xylitol:
1. Xylitol, an organic compound, can participate in the metabolism of the human body as a functional sweetener.
2. It can penetrate cell without the help of insulin. Moreover, its metabolism speed is quicker and will not cause the elevation of blood sugar. So the Xylitol is the most suitable nutritional sugar substitute for diabetics.
3. Compared with ordinary granulated sugar, Xylitol has the advantage of low calory. To a certain extent, it is also helpful to the cleanliness of the teeth.
