Nisin

Introduction of Nisin:
1. Nisin is the off-white powder that can be biodegraded and digested by enzyme in human body.
2. As a vital product of our food additives and food ingredients, nisin is a high-effective, safe, and non-toxic natural food preservative. 3. It has strong inhibition ability to the majority of gram-positive bacteria, especially for those gram-positive bacteria which can give birth to spores, such as bacillus subtilis and bacillus stearothermophilus.
4. Under certain conditions, such as refrigeration, heating, pH value lowering and EDTA treatment, nisin can also inhibit the growth of some gram-negative bacteria such as salmonella, escherichia coli, pseudomonas and others.
5. At present, nisin has been widely used as preservative in the food industry, which can reduce the food sterilization temperature, shorten sterilization time for food, improve the food quality, reduce the damage to food nutrition and extend the food shelf time.

Main Functions of Nisin:
1. Nisin has been widely used in the antisepticise and preservation of the dairy products, meat products, canned food, vegetable protein products (including bean products), beer, wine, alcohol products, convenience food, ice cream, yeast, pickles and so on.
2. It also has inhibition function in the production process of other industrial products such as alcohol, xanthan gum and glutin. All these guarantee the high quality of our product.
